Had a very busy April, now I hope to get back to making things, and posting. Last week I went to an artists' talk about Japanese paper. I've been thinking about trying some paintings on paper, and the talk reinforced the idea. I've got various papers I've had for ages, so I've started priming some pieces with matte medium, and trying some simple painting. The one pictured below is a fibrous, translucent paper, primed with matte medium and painted with metallic and interference acrylic colours.
