I'm going to do a series of posts, each focusing on an individual piece, either complete or in progress, to give you a sense of the idea, meaning, techniques or inspiration.
This one, from 2016, was developed using photos I took on a visit to British Columbia in the summer of 2015. In Comox on Vancouver Island is Filberg Lodge, a heritage house and park. These heleniums were blooming in the flowerbed.
